We’re thrilled to share a new creative writing competition designed to carry on the legacy of The Great Tapestry of Scotland by celebrating the people's stories and engaging children with the Curriculum for Excellence. The competition is open to all children living in the Scottish Borders aged 7 – 15 and hundreds of talented young writers have let their imaginations run wild with their awesome tales. Each story reflects the unique creativity and imagination of our young participants, and the winning story from each age group will be carefully selected by acclaimed author Alexander McCall Smith. Join us as the winners are announced, when exciting prizes and the chance for fame awaits!
