We are thrilled to unveil our second Creative Writing Competition, inspired by the rich legacy of The Great Tapestry of Scotland! This incredible initiative is all about sparking creativity, celebrating storytelling, and encouraging the next generation of authors. Open to all children aged 7–15 living in the Scottish Borders, Midlothian, and Edinburgh, the competition has already seen hundreds of talented young writers bring their imaginations to life with fantastic tales woven with wonder, heart, and history. Each story is a testament to the unique voice and creativity of our young participants. The winning story from each age group will be hand-picked by acclaimed author Mairi Kidd. Join us for the big reveal, where exciting prizes and a chance at literary fame await our brilliant young storytellers!
