Information

Scotland’s First Minister makes a first visit to the festival. In the company of Michael Moore, he will talk about the books that have influenced, entertained and informed him throughout his life. Born and educated in Edinburgh he worked in financial services before his election to Westminster in 1997 and the Scottish Parliament in 1999. John has been at, or near, the front line of politics ever since. This is a rare opportunity for a virtual browse of his library and to learn which books have been critical to his personal and political world view.
