After walking 11,000 km around Britain’s coastline, photographer Quintin Lake shares stunning images and reflections from the edge.
On Friday 17th April, 2015, Quintin Lake set off from the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral on a five-year journey that would take him around the entire coastline of mainland Britain. Carrying 20 kilos of hiking and photography gear, he walked 11,000 kilometres in 454 days with one goal in mind: to produce a body of work that gets under the surface of the island nation we call home. The result is stunning and sure to be an instant classic.
